(Mogadishu, 9thJune, 2011) – Following the United Nations and the recommendations made by the International Contact Group on Somalia (ICG) that called on the top TFG leadership to come to a consensus on the end for the Transition Period. The top two leaders of the Transitional federal Government namely the Somali President and the Somali Speaker engaged serious dialogue in the Ugandan Capital Kampala.
The session facilitated by the President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni and the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary General on Somalia Amb. Augustine P Mahiga and the following were the recommendations agreed upon;-
